Self-Portrait (Heathrow Airport, London) by Colin Davidson
Self-Portrait (Heathrow Airport, London) by Colin Davidson
Image Size 69 x 75cm, Paper Size 79 x 85cm
Originally shown in Sotheby’s London, Colin Davidson’s ‘Window Self-Portraits’ exhibition expanded on his theme of portraiture in a new and inventive way, by depicting himself as a reflection in the glass of city windows. The play of refracted light, movement and colour create images at once solid and fleeting as surfaces dissolve and space extends and recedes. In this reproduction, we see the abstract patterns created in the multi-layered glass panels at Heathrow Airport in London.
