‘Belfast from Black Mountain’ by Colin Davidson
‘Belfast from Black Mountain’ by Colin Davidson
Image Size 69 x 75 cm, Paper Size 79 x 85 cm
Colin Davidson has been painting Belfast, the city of his childhood, for over 40 years. Mostly, from elevated vantage points, these ‘portraits’ of the city reflect the unique pattern, light and space of place, whilst meditating on the psychological aspect of a living entity and it’s multi-layered personality. In this reproduction, the artist looks over west Belfast, towards the iconic shipyard cranes in the east.
